Training Up Our Children

At TCGF, we believe in the importance of training our children “in the way they should go,” as Proverbs 22:6 says. The local church plays an important part in the way we guide our children to a growing knowledge of the Word of God and a love for Him. Each of our ministries seeks to blend FAITH and FUN together in a way that all ages can enjoy!

Nursery

Birth to 3 Years

Our youngest blessings are always welcome in the worship service, but we understand that sometimes it’s nice to listen to the sermon alone! A staffed nursery is available during the 10 AM service for your convenience

Sunday School & Junior Church

3 Years – 6th Grade

If you choose to join us for the 9 AM Sunday School hour, your children will have their own age-appropriate lesson. From reenactments of the Last Supper, to prayer requests and learning how to pray, our teachers encourage your children to ask questions and grow in their faith in practical ways.

During the 10 AM worship service, children ages 3 – 6th grade will also be dismissed to their own lesson and time for games and activities. Our junior church curriculum comes from Answers in Genesis and is designed to take your kids through the entire Bible.

Kids Klub

3 Years – 6th Grade

Attending our Wednesday night prayer meeting or Bible studies? Bring your kids along too! Kids Club runs from 6-7 pm on Wednesday nights, with a Bible lesson and time for games. Our volunteer staff provide different activities for the various ages who attend.

Youth Group

7th – 12th Grade

On Sunday mornings, teens are encouraged to attend the regular Sunday School class and 10 AM service with their parents.

Our teens group meets separately at 6 pm on Sundays, during the adult Bible study time with Pastor Mark. We hope your middle and high school age children will join us for a time of fellowship, games, and a Bible lesson.

(Keep an eye out for other fun social events for your teens throughout the year, too!)

SHEEP

Susquehanna Homeschool Education Enrichment Program

The SHEEP co-op is a faith-based classroom setting in which homeschool families join together for classwork, fellowship, and partnership in Christian teaching. Faithful parents provide instruction from a Christian perspective for all ages, to help one another in the homeschooling journey. While not an official ministry of TCGF, the SHEEP co-op group is sponsored by the church and meets in our facility 2 Fridays per month. We are blessed to see many children being taught from Christian-based curriculum through this homeschool program.
